ZAINAB 4RALEIGH
There was a 300% increase in youth vote turnout during my campaign. I engaged thousands from working class, immigrant, and first-time voter communities. Our vote cost was $3. We ignited a youth-led intergenerational movement in Raleigh.

Vote October 8th for Zainab Baloch, a 2019 Raleigh Mayoral Candidate running to bring moral solutions to the table.
Zainab4Raleigh is a campaign that is fighting to not let our futures be decided by those who value money over morality. The systems in place aren’t built to support and represent all the people in our city, and we’re allowing big money and developer interests to corrupt our decisions, and have a greater influence than the actual needs of our citizens.
Y'all - We're the only campaign that has publicly pledged not to take money from developers or big money PACs. We're a grassroots organization that’s powered by the people. I will fight to dismantle unjust systems that exploit our working class poor communities and communities of color.
Raleigh has the opportunity to be a city that invests in a sustainable future for our youth and working population — one that supports new, people-powered solutions. We can build a transparent government that chooses to do good, despite difficulties.
The choices we make on a local level are the ones that will make history. We need to vote for ourselves, for our futures, and for the people who can’t vote yet. It’s time for us to step up and claim our city. Vote - Oct 8th.

Zainab Baloch is a young woman of color who is running for Raleigh City Council, a city whose median age is 32 and becoming increasingly diverse each year. While Raleigh has made tremendous amounts of improvements in recent years, there is still a lot left to be done. Zainab is running on a platform for rights of working class folks who are still fighting for humane and respectful working conditions, for transportation that is available and accessible to all of our community, for physical health facilities and fitness resources that meet our communities' needs, and a platform that challenges gentrification and ensures our rights to own homes in low-income neighborhoods.
Local elections impact our lives on a daily basis. Our access to public transportation, the rights of our workers and public employees, and our ability to own homes are all things that fall under local government. With that, we want to make sure our residents in Raleigh are registered to vote and have an opportunity to learn about Zainab Baloch's platform and why she is running for Raleigh City Council. Most importantly, we want to know what issues our community and city is facing and make sure we are listening! One of the best ways to do this is through CANVASSING, but we need passionate volunteers from our community to help!
